Behavioral Health Counselor
Ariel began her journey in education at Lehman College, where she earned a degree in Education. After completing her foundational studies, she pursued her passion for counseling at Long Island University, where she earned a degree in School Counseling. Ariel continued her education at Long Island University, obtaining a second degree in Licensed Mental Health Counseling.
Ariel specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as one of her core practices, using evidence-based techniques to support her clients in developing healthier thought patterns and coping strategies. With a diverse educational background, Ariel has gained extensive experience in working with diverse student populations, supporting mental health in schools,and implementing wellness programs She is currently an integral part of the Archdiocese of New York, serving as an Intervention counselor. In this role, she specializes in mental health support and fostering student growth positively impacting her students and school community.
A proud Puerto Rican, Ariel also embraces her cultural heritage, incorporating elements of cultural values into her professional and personal life. She enjoys traveling with her family, exploring new destinations like Puerto Rico and California, and sharing these adventures on her blog.
Ariel continues to strive for growth, both in her career and personal life, aiming to provide the best support for her students, community, and family.
